Google has finally released an official iOS Blogger app that will allow users of the Blogger interface to update their blog(s) using their iPhones.
The app has been a long time coming as iPhone users have been asking for it for quite some time. In the meantime most of their blogging CMS competitors have released their own versions. WordPress, Typepad and Tumblr all have their own iPhone apps. Google has been very late to add this, despite already having an Android version of the app.
According to the Blogger Buzz Blog:
With the Blogger app, you can write a new blog post and publish it immediately or save it as a draft right from your iOS device. You can also open a blog post you’ve been working on from your computer and continue editing it while you’re on-the-go. Your blog posts are automatically synced across devices, so you’ll always have access to the latest version.

Although the app is available for the iPad as well, Mashable points out this only works in compatibility mode. No mention has been made as to whether Google will release a native iPad app anytime soon.

Too late! I’ve already moved to WordPress. Keep up with the game Google.

This is great. Blogger is so much easier to use thank WP. WP is far too complicated.

That’s because blogger is like a fisherprice ‘my first blogging cms’.
