An internal memo within US-based telecommunications company has caused considerable excitement amongst iPhone fans, with suggestions that the new iPhone 5 could be available before October 15th.
Although there has been much speculation as to the launch of the new model, the release date has been a closely guarded secret. However, a new confidential memo from Sprint could shed light on the release date, leaving Apple fans to believe that the iPhone will be available within the first two weeks of October.
The memo reads:
“Due to the possibility of a major phone launch in October, we are blacking out September 30th through October 15th…”
Although a date is not confirmed within the memo, it has led many to believe that the new iPhone 5 will be available within the US by then. As if to back up these claims, a news report by news source Bloomberg said that the carrier would begin selling the iPhone in mid October. Apple has yet to comment on the possible leak.
